The first Advisory Committee meeting for the Milwaukie Transportation System Plan (TSP) update has been scheduled as follows:

Where: Milwaukie Masonic Lodge*
Address: 10636 SE Main St (NE corner of Main and Harrison, across from City Hall)
When: Wednesday, January 24, 2007
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Meeting Materials

Any member of the public may be an Advisory Committee member. There is no selection process; however, those who wish to participate as members need to sign up through the City and make a commitment to participate for the duration of the project. This will ensure that the Advisory Committee has a stable membership, which in turn will contribute to the committee's effectiveness. Approximately five 2-hour meetings are expected to occur between January 2007 and July 2007.

Members are expected to participate fully by doing the following:

  • Attend scheduled meetings.
  • Come prepared by reviewing relevant documents in advance.
  • Keep the larger community's interests in mind.

If you would like to become an Advisory Committee member, please complete a Volunteer Form and return it to Susan Shanks by Friday, January 12. Her contact information is below. Meeting packets for this and each subsequent Advisory Committee meeting will be distributed to members and posted on this web site one week in advance of each meeting. Each packet will contain an agenda and any other relevant meeting documents.

If you are not interested in being an Advisory Committee member, you are welcome to observe and participate in any of the meetings on a drop-in basis.

Please send your Volunteer Form to:
