Drop Your Leaves for FREE!

The City continues its leaf disposal program this fall in order to promote public participation, reduce the amount of work needed to sweep and unclog the City's storm water drains, and to improve fish habitat by raising the quality of storm water that's released to our creeks and rivers.

Please drop your leaves at the City's Johnson Creek Boulevard facility (6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard) on one of these days: Nov. 17th, Dec. 1st Dec. 8th between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Residents can bring leaves bagged or loose.

Last fall the City of Milwaukie conducted its third leaf disposal program and it was a complete success. More than 142,770 pounds of leaves - roughly the same weight as 35 automobiles - was collected, and this year the City hopes to collect even more.
