The citizen Safety and Security Task Force examining the Portland to Milwaukie Light Rail project will take an up-close look at how the Interstate MAX Line handled such issues when it meets for the second time on Wednesday, Oct. 10th at 6 p.m.

Task Force members will meet at the Metro Regional Center (600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland) before boarding the Interstate MAX. Interested members of the community are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.

At the first meeting held Sept. 25th Task Force members and citizens listened to a TriMet presentation describing the agency's standard safety and security initiatives before breaking into small groups to identify concerns and potential problem-spots along the Portland to Milwaukie line.
