Autumn is in full swing and trying to keep up with all of the leaves that have fallen is a real chore.

One option is to drop your leaves at the City’s Johnson Creek Boulevard facility located at 6101 SE JCB.

This is the fifth year the City has offered the program and the aim is to reduce the amount of work that’s needed for City crews to sweep and unclog the City’s stormwater drains and to improve fish habitat by raising the quality of stormwater that’s released into our creeks and rivers.

This year’s collection dates are set for the following Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Nov. 1st, Nov. 15th, Nov. 22nd, Dec. 6th, Dec. 13th.

Residents can bring leaves bagged or loose.
